On April 18, 2018 The M5000 was tested and certified by Intertek Canada, a third party company that tests products on their performance. The testing was carried out on 4 M5000 brackets and the results were outstanding! With a maximum payload of 96,440 lbs, with a 4/1 safety ratio, giving the M5000 a safety load factor of approx. 24,100 lbs per bracket.

This is the machine the M5000 was tested on. This test was to find out the real strength of the bracket itself which is why we had it tested while it was mounted to 1” solid steel. The bolts used during the testing are the same strength as the Mammoth Grade 8.8 that are supplied with every M5000 Bracket. A 6x6 pressure treated post was also used in the test.
